Data Deletion Request

Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by DialogFusion. This page explains how to request deletion of data collected through our website, our platform, and our integrations with third-party messaging platforms, including Meta products (WhatsApp Business Platform, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram).

Option 1: Delete Your Data from Your Account (Recommended)

If you are a DialogFusion customer, you can delete your data directly:

  1. Log in to your account at app.dialogfusion.com;
  2. To delete individual conversations or contacts, open the conversation or contact and use the delete option;
  3. To disconnect a channel (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, etc.), go to Settings → Channels and remove the channel — this stops all further data collection from that channel;
  4. To delete your entire account and all associated data, go to Settings → Account and request account deletion, or contact us using Option 2 below.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

Send an email to aydin@birimajans.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your full name;
  • The email address or phone number associated with your data;
  • If applicable, the messaging channel through which you interacted with a business using DialogFusion (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger);
  • A description of the data you want deleted (or "all my data").

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests.

If You Are an End User (Customer of a Business Using DialogFusion)

If you messaged a business that uses DialogFusion (for example via WhatsApp or Instagram), that business is the controller of your conversation data and DialogFusion processes it on their behalf. You can:

  • Contact the business directly and ask them to delete your data; or
  • Email us at aydin@birimajans.com — we will forward your request to the relevant business and assist with its fulfilment.

Data Deleted via Facebook / Meta

If you connected or interacted with DialogFusion through a Meta product and initiate a data deletion request from Facebook (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → DialogFusion → Remove), Meta notifies us via a data deletion callback and we automatically delete the platform data associated with your Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp identity.

What Happens After Your Request

  • We confirm receipt of your request within 7 days;
  • Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification;
  • Data is removed from active systems immediately and from encrypted backups within the backup rotation cycle (up to 90 days);
  • We may retain limited data where required by law (e.g., invoices and tax records) — such data is isolated and not used for any other purpose;
  • You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
Note: Deleting your data from DialogFusion does not delete messages stored on the messaging platform itself (e.g., in your WhatsApp or Instagram app) or on your correspondent's device. Those are controlled by the respective platform.
